PRESIDIANS RELISH AN AMUSING PICNIC TO ROCKSPORT ADVENTURE CAMP
Going on a school picnic means lot more than simply leaving the school grounds. It bestows students a chance to strengthen bond with their classmates, develop personality traits, experience new environment and enjoy a day away from the classroom. To provide amusement, pleasure and serenity to our little Presidians, a fun-filled picnic to Rocksport Adventure Camp was recently organized. They enjoyed executing various adventure activities and had a nice time with their endearing friends. Eating together, travelling in the school bus and playing with teachers made the day immensely cherishable for our students.
PRESIDIANS SET THE STAGE ON FIRE AT THE ROLE PLAY COMPETITION

The young Presidians of Ashok Vihar recently made every word of this saying real and set the stage on fire with their brilliant performances in the Role Play Competition. They were dressed in different hues and characters ranging from Ariel, Padmavati, Tenali Rama, Allaudin Khilji, Robinhood and Iron Man to Yogi Adityanath, Sushma Swaraj, Arvind Kejriwal and Kalpana Chawla. Doing complete justice to the last competition of this session, the students brought these characters to life with their acting, dialogue delivery, stage coverage and prop usage, in the span of just 2 minutes. They enchanted the judges and gave them a tough time by raising the bar of their skills. It was indeed a moment of pride for parents, teachers and students alike.
GARDEN VISIT: PRESIDIANS ENRICH THEIR PERSPECTIVE OF THEME GARDEN
Excursions are an important and effective means of motivating students and engaging them in active learning experiences as they provide a chance to students to explore and observe their surroundings.
We at Presidium, ensure that children learn through all possible ways, not just through books and classroom teaching. Keeping the same in mind, we recently took our students for a garden visit to enable them to use their senses to observe, smell, hear and touch the things present in the garden to understand the characteristics of plants and other elements of a garden. They indluged in fun-filled activities like using their knowledge of measurement to measure plants in the garden, using coloured pencils to take the impressions of barks, and collecting the fallen leaves, barks, stems and flowers in their treasure boxes. To sum it up, it was an unforgettable experience full of learning and fun!

Under the theme 'From Farm to Plate', our grade 4 students indulged in PBL (Project Based Learning) Culmination recently at Presidium, Ashok Vihar. Unity, strength, team work and leadership were all a part of culmination. Students chose a variety of cuisines like Chinese, South Indian, Punjabi, Bakery and Italian. Be it management, planning, advertisement, interiors or presentation, they outshined in each aspect and mesmerized everyone with their entertaining performances. The students were super excited for their restaurant and had made required arrangements, thinking about everything for their restaurant like billing, transaction of money, entertainment and above all, great food. The scrumptious food with extraordinary presentation, melted everyone's heart with a remarkable experience!
PBL CULMINATION DAY:PRESIDIANS HIGHLIGHT CRISIS OF WATER SCARCITY

To provide our grade 5 students a platform to showcase their journey of exploration and learning, a PBL Culmination Day on the pre-eminent problem of water scarcity was recently organized at Presidium, Ashok Vihar. The young Presidians effectively engaged themselves in different activities, presented their views and demonstrated their learning through the model of a lake and an aquifer. They showed how the water from the aquifer can be utilized for hand pumps and wells, sharing their views on the need of saving them. It gave an opportunity to the students to enhance their analytical skills as they collected data, read informative texts and researched to learn various concepts. Plus, they could also empathize with the people who lack supply of clean water. As PBL (Project Based Learning) emphasizes on learning by doing, this project left an impact on the students and helped them to apply their knowledge in real life!
7 DAYS OF UNLIMITED FUN & LEARNING AT THE SCIENCE WEEK
Science is a way of thinking much more; it is a body of knowledge!
As an initiative to make our students understand that Science is diverse and learning it is fun, we recently celebrated a Science Week at Presidium, Ashok Vihar. The Presidians were taught to collect information about every living and non living thing with the help of a plethora of fun-filled activities. Witnessing tremendous participation of students who showcased their enthusiasm by exhibiting splendid models, beautiful charts and amazing projects, it was truly a learning experience for all.
PRESIDIANS CAST A SPELL AT ‘SPELLATHON COMPETITION’

A strong foundation of spellings build an empire of language. To enhance spellings and make the base of language stronger for our students, an intra-class SPELLATHON competition was conducted. The preparations of the competition started well in advance and our Presidians were motivated to deliver amazing results. The competition was conducted in three rounds wherein our students got ample opportunities to showcase their knowledge of spellings. It was a delight to see their enthusiasm and determination. BUDDING DANCERS ROCK ‘N’ ROLL AT INTER-CLASS DANCE COMPETITION!
"Dancing is like dreaming with your feet"
Dance is one of the most basic forms of self-expression and children embrace the joy of dancing to a beat. Throughout the course of human history dance has been a part of cultures around the world. With the aim of honing the dancing skills of the students, an inter class dance competition was organised. The competition witnessed great zeal and enthusiasm. Young Presidians were thrilled to be a part of this colorful, vibrant and energizing event. The choreography, rhythm, synchronization and presentation of our students was par excellence.
SUDHA MA'AM BLESSES OUR SENIOR PRESIDIANS FOR A BRIGHT TOMORROW
With a heavy but a hopeful heart, we recently bid farewell to our senior Presidians. The event was graced by our very dear Sudha Ma'am, the honourable chairperson of Presidium, who showered her choicest blessings on them for a bright tomorrow. Dressed in elegant saris and dashing suits, the senior students looked graceful and competed for several interesting titles. Summing up all their treasured memories from the school, the Presidians pledged to touch new heights and be the leaders of tomorrow.
CITATION DAY MAKES THE OUTGOING BATCH OF 2017-18 NOSTALGIC!
Presidium, Ashok Vihar celebrated its time-honoured tradition of acknowledging the incredible journey of its outgoing batch of 2017- 2018. The Citation Ceremony filled the school with palpable excitement and an air of nostalgia. The ceremony commenced with the auspicious lamp lighting ceremony and was followed by scintillating performances. Parents and teachers became very nostalgic as students came on the stage to receive their citations.
Donned in the black robes and hats, the students appeared ready for the journey called ‘life’.
