PRESIDIANS PROPAGATE MESSAGE OF PEACE ON INTERNATIONAL PEACE DAY
‘Peace, the elixir of life, repletes our life with utmost happiness, gratification and the sense of plenitude.’
Peace makes our life immerse in the feeling of calmness and tranquility. Each year, the International Day of Peace is observed around the world on 21st September. The General Assembly has declared this as a day devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace amongst all the nations. The students of Presidium Ashok Vihar celebrated this day with with utmost enthusiasm. The students presented a skit on the importance of propagating peace and expressed their views on ‘no bullying’. They promised to cherish the value of peace in life forever with tad enthusiasm.
SKATERS PERFORM ELEGANTLY AT INTER PRESIDIUM SKATING CHAMPIONSHIP

With the same desire in hearts, agility in their bodies and stability in their minds, the skating team of our young Presidian boys left the audience spellbound by bagging the overall team Championship trophy at the 2nd Inter Presidium Skating Championship held at Presidium Dwarka 22. The Championship provided a great platform for our young skaters to exhibit their talent to such a gathering of spectators. Presidium Ashok Vihar won the coveted Boys Championship Trophy along with three Gold and two Silver medals. Congratulations to all the Champions!
PBL CULMINATION: LEARNING ABOUT CONSTRUCTION & FOOD PRESERVATION
"Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm", said Ralph Waldo Emerson and this line befits the ebullient PBL culmination day of students of grades 4 & 5 who culminated their project based learning themes of ‘Construction and Food preservation’, respectively. Apart from honing efficiency in note making, conduction interviews and gaining knowledge, the students wove in depth understanding of various skills ranging from letter writing to unitary method. In this process, students worked as a team and explored solutions to real life problems which not only made them learn the true meaning of collaboration but also enhanced their communication skills. In grade 4, the skills of the students were displayed through the model of the Dream School using cardboards and colorful material. Mesmerizing charts displaying learning and understanding of each concept learnt were an icing on the cake.
HINDI DIWAS: PRESIDIANS SHOWCASE THEIR LOVE FOR THE LANGUAGE
Hindi Diwas is celebrated all across India to emphasize on the importance of Hindi language in the country. Presidium Ashok Vihar celebrated this day to throw light on the importance of this eminent and glorious language. The students of grades 2 and 3, with great zeal and enthusiasm presented an assembly on Hindi Diwas under the theme ‘Rajdarbar'. The assembly began with a beautiful presentation of the concept 'ek-anek'. After which, the young actors performed a mesmerizing skit called 'Inaam'. Towards the end, the little Presidians shared a lot of facts about hindi language and very nicely depicted the aim behind the assembly, which was to inspire others to always espect our national language, Hindi.
GANESH CHATURTHI CELEBRATIONS FILLS PRESIDIANS WITH JOY
The festival Ganesh Chaturthi celebrates Lord Ganesha as the God of new beginnings, remover of obstacles as well as the God of wisdom and intelligence. The students of Presidium Ashok Vihar celebrated the festival with lot of excitement, pride and vigour. The students sang prayers and made offerings to the idol and expressed their happiness through dance and music. The dance and music extravaganza was followed by a beautiful skit highlighting various childhood stories about Lord Ganesha. The sincere devotion and spiritual fervour of the students enlivened the festive aura of the school premises.
CELEBRATING TEACHERS’ DAY WITH CM OF DELHI, SHRI ARVIND KEJRIWAL

On the very special and auspicious occasion of ‘Teachers’ Day’, young students of Presidium Ashok Vihar, visited the honourable Chief Minister of Delhi, Shri Arvind Kejriwal, who interacted and welcomed students with love and warmth. During the visit, Sir shared his valuable thoughts and experiences with the students. He also asked them to always respect their ‘Gurus’. It was an honour for the students to meet the revered CM on such a special day.
PRESIDIUM ASHOK VIHAR HOSTS THE ZONAL ENGLISH DEBATE COMPETITION
A good leader must be able to speak his/her mind openly, debate the disagreements honestly, but always pursue solidarity. A debate is held with an aim to spread and receive good ideas and true innovation with the help of putting forward arguments in favour and against a topic. It was a moment of immense pride and honour for Presidium Ashok Vihar to play host to the English Zonal Debate Competition organised by the Directorate of Education, Zone XI. Around 147 participant from 70 different schools participated in the competition and astounded the judges with their well-articulated eloquence. It was a pleasure to watch the participants demonstrate their oratory skills with wonderfully constructed arguments with abundant confidence.
MENTORS ENJOY THE TEACHERS’ DAY CELEBRATION WITH MATHAROO SIR
‘A Teacher opens a Mind, and touches a Heart’. Presidium Ashok Vihar never fails to take the opportunity to show gratitude towards its dedicated and passionate teachers. A gala event was organised in the magnanimous presence of our ever generous honourable Chairman G.S. Matharoo Sir to celebrate Teachers’ Day. Chairman Sir lauded the entire staff for their exemplary contribution to the school’s phenomenal success. He appreciated the sincerest efforts of the teachers in playing a catalytic role in the life of each student. The exemplary performances of the teachers from Presidium Ashok Vihar, Dwarka 22 and Dwarka 16B added to the spark of the event.

Students outpoured their regards and warmth towards Chairman Sir in an utter heart-touching way. The day culminated with the hearty greetings of students that infused the sense of pride and weaved the environment of admiration everywhere.
JANMASHTAMI CELEBRATED WITH ARDOR AT PRESIDIUM ASHOK VIHAR
Janmashtami was celebrated with great zest and zeal at Presidium Ashok Vihar. The students conducted a special assembly, where a skit with diverse ‘leelas’ of Sri Krishna was enacted illustrating the fact that whenever there will be dominance of malevolence ‘Lord Krishna’ will reincarnate to destroy the evil and save the good. The time and life of Shri Krishna was brought to life by the scintillating performances by the students. The assembly concluded with invoking God’s blessings for peace and success.
