"Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm!" - Ralph Waldo Emerson
This line befits the ebullient PBL culmination day of grade 4 and 5 students of Presidium, Ashok Vihar. Experiential learning in its true form was evident when the aspiring students showcased their knowledge. Apart from honing efficiency in note making, conduction interviews and understanding the use of preservatives, the students gained understanding of various skills ranging from letter writing to unitary method. It made them understand the value of food as an essential item for survival and the need to preserve it and curb wastage. With their creativity and innovative ideas, they displayed their dream school with self created models.
They presented their understanding of the concepts like scaling, measurement, direction, material used for construction and people involved in construction of building, with the help of beautiful and colourful charts. In this process, the students worked as a team and explored solutions to real life problems, which not only made them learn the true meaning of collaboration but also enhanced their real life communication skills. To sum up, the culmination proved to be an immense learning experience and the young Presidians proved that team work and proper organization are the tools to gain confidence and proficiency in all the endeavours of life.
