Ganesh Chaturthi, also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi, is a popular Hindu festival that reveres Lord Ganesha. The festival is marked with installation of Ganesha clay idols in homes. To worship Lord Ganesha as the God of new beginnings and the remover of obstacles, students of Presidium Ashok Vihar recently organized a special assembly on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. The talented Presidians enacted the whole festival and explained how it is celebrated with great pomp and show. All the students were thrilled to see how Lord Ganesha is welcomed and immersed after 10 days in a nearby river. It was truly, a soulful experience!
